A Button is a component which sends a signal to anything it is wired to.

Usage[edit | edit source]

The Button is most commonly used to toggle the state of other installations, such as Doors and Hatches. They may also be used in a more sophisticated fashion such as a trigger to enable a Pump from a far distance (e.g. from the Command room to drain on board water). Buttons can also be placed or removed from walls of the submarine by equipping the button in your hand and pressing the "Use" key (default 'Left mouse click').

Traitor mission[edit | edit source]

It can sometimes be used as a item of a traitor mission, when the traitor mission its triggered, it will spawn the button in a random emergency cabinet, after that the traitor will have to search for a detonator, and after that it is necessary to find a explosive to flood a percentage of the sub.
