A Button is a component which sends a signal to anything it is wired to.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Button is most commonly used to toggle the state of other installations, such as Doors and Hatches. They may also be used in a more sophisticated fashion such as a trigger to enable a Pump from a far distance (e.g. from the Command room to drain on board water). Buttons can also be placed or removed from walls of the submarine by equipping the button in your hand and pressing the "Use" key (default 'E').
