The Syringe Gun is a ranged medical weapon.
Function[edit | edit source]
The Syringe Gun is uniquely capable of remotely administering chemicals to crew members.
While this could be used beneficially, for instance if a player was infected with a Velonaceps Calyx instance and a Medical Doctor needed to quickly inject them with Calyxanide, it can also be used for non-lethally sedating or by using poisons, killing rogue crew members.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Syringe Gun can be loaded with up to 4 injectable Chemicals, as long as they are contained in a syringe.
It is aimed by holding down the right mouse button (mouse2) and fired with the left (mouse1).
If a character is hit all of the syringe's contents will be used up (all the chemical's uses) and the syringe will be destroyed, if the syringe hits a wall or something other than a character it is also destroyed without injecting any of its contents.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Despite the item's medical nature, it is internally considered a weapon.
- In the Legacy version, medicals needed to be inside Syringes to be shootable. With the removal of Syringes, various chemicals were instead represented by Syringes.
- The Syringe Gun can shoot any item which includes the 'syringe' tag.
- Shooting the Syringe Gun without meeting the Skill requirements will add additional spread to the shots.
